CARE & WELFARE : The Care Team
In The New School all staff members, teaching and non teaching, are responsible for the care and welfare of the children.
Out of School hours support is provided by the Head of Care and the care assistants.
Working as a team the staff co-ordinate evening activities, arrange trips out of School, and target areas of need that may arise from time to time within the community as a whole, or with an individual pupil in their care.
The most successful outcomes are always achieved when there is a strong partnership between school and home and thus we make a special effort to ensure that good lines of communication exist to promote this relationship.
