The New School
The New School promotes a fully inclusive academic programme with mainstream education for children who cannot access education through mainstream provision.
We hope this website captures the spirit of the school as well as providing you with the information you need.
There is, however, no substitute for visiting the school and seeing us in action and I hope that you will take the opportunity to come to this very happy and productive community in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland .
The school is a 37 week co-educational residential / day school (weekly boarding) for children aged 12-20. Termly boarding is also available.
We offer a full school curriculum to Access and Higher level and, also, ASDAN programme to Intermediate and Bronze level.
